1. Register for esewa
Registering in esewa is very easy. Click on Sign Up!! New User (Big blue button just below the login pane). In the new window fill up your Name and email address and submit. When you are done you will be sent an email in the provided email address. (We do this to ensure that you are using your own active email to register for esewa). In the email you will see a link clicking on the link will take you to a new window where you will have to provide the remaining information and submit.
Yooo!!! You now have a esewa account. Login with the email id and password you just created.
2. Recharge/Prefund your esewa account
After you have successfully registered and login to esewa, around the top right corner you see that your available balance is Rs. 0.0. Nothing to worry about, you need to prefund your esewa account before you are able to carry out any transaction. Click on the ‘Recharge Now’ link. There are different means of prefunding your esewa account, you can use any one of the following.
a) Through e-Sewa Recharge Cards
e-Sewa recharge cards can be purchased from our partner bank counters (Currently Laxmi bank). E-Sewa recharge cards are available in two face values. Rs. 2000 and Rs. 5000. Scratch the shaded area behind the recharge card to reveal the 16 digit pin code. Enter the pin code and your account is funded with amount equivalent to the face value of the card.
b) Through Internet Banking of Partner Banks
Click on the Bank Logo to open the internet banking site of our partner banks. Login with you ibanking credentials. In the internet banking under Pay Bills find esewa. Fill in the amount you want to transfer to esewa and your email id you use to login to esewa and confirm. When you are done your update should be reflected in esewa within 1-5 minutes.
c) Counter Deposit in Partner Banks
You can also prefund your esewa account through counter deposits at partner bank. Fill up the deposit slip, ask the customer service staff at the bank for esewa account no, and do not forget to provide your email id in the deposited by field. Your esewa account should be updated within 1-5 minutes.
Important: If your esewa account is not updated within 5 minute after the above step, Do Not Panic, please call the live support no and esewa support staffs will immediately look into your problem.
3. Use esewa to make your transaction
Once you are logged in and you have some fund in your esewa account you can use any of the services listed in esewa as long as you do not overrun your esewa balance.
